Principal’s Message

At deltona we S.O.A.R - Self Control. On Task. Act Kindly. Be Responsible

Dear Parents, Students, and Friends,

It is a joy and privilege to serve as the principal of such a wonderful school where learning, discovery, and growth happen every day.

At the elementary level, every moment is a chance to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture a love for learning. Our caring teachers and staff work together to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where each child is encouraged to explore their talents, ask questions, and try new things.

We also believe that a child’s success is built on a strong partnership between home and school. Together with parents and families, we strive to help every student grow not only academically, but also socially—becoming kind, respectful, and responsible individuals.

Thank you for entrusting us a Deltona Elementary with your child’s education. We look forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, and success!

Warmly,
Ms. Sweeney
