Morning Drop-Off Procedure

To help ensure a safe, efficient, and organized arrival process, Deltona Elementary utilizes two designated drop-off entrances and a Driveline Drop-Off System.

🚗 Driveline Drop-Off

Deltona Elementary offers a Driveline Drop-Off System to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance student safety during morning arrival. Families are encouraged to use the driveline whenever possible, as it allows students to be dropped off quickly and safely without parents needing to leave their vehicles.

📍 Drop-Off Locations

Main Entrance
All students in Kindergarten – 5^th grade will be dropped off through the Main Entrance of the School.

Secondary/Back Gate
All Pre-K and ESE students should be dropped off at the secondary entrance located north of the main entrance.

For the safety of all students and staff, please follow all traffic patterns, remain in your vehicle while in the driveline, and ensure students are ready to exit promptly when reaching the designated drop-off area.

Afternoon Pick-Up Information

To help ensure a safe, efficient, and organized dismissal process, Deltona Elementary utilizes two designated pick-up entrances and a Driveline Pick-Up System.

• Driveline Pick-Up
  Deltona Elementary offers a Driveline Pick-Up System to improve traffic flow, reduce wait times, and enhance student safety during afternoon dismissal. Families are encouraged to use the driveline whenever possible, as it allows students to be dismissed quickly and safely without parents needing to leave their vehicles.

• Pick-Up Locations

Main Entrance
Students dismissed from the 100, 200, and 300 hallways will be picked up at the main entrance.

Secondary/North Entrance
Students dismissed from the 400 and 600 hallways, the 10 building, and all Pre-K students will use the secondary entrance located north of the main entrance.

Families with siblings in more than one grade level should always use the pick-up area for the lowest grade level.

For the safety of all students and staff, please follow all traffic patterns, remain in your vehicle while in the driveline, and have your student pick-up tag clearly visible during dismissal.

Deltona has two lanes when entering through the front entrance.

The right lane is designated for K–5 student drop-off.

The left lane is designated for Pre-K student drop-off and for staff members accessing the parking area.
